Summary: Ben is anything but delighted when his mother and two sisters arrive at the Ponderosa for an unannounced visit. But as his mother and sisters stay on at the ranch, he must confront the past and try to make sense of a very bitter feud between them. But when he faces total ruin by a member of his only family, he just might find the healing he’s been searching for and finally make peace with the past and with his family at the same time.
Summary: When Little Joe is seriously injured following an attack by bandits, Ben must rush him to the nearest doctor for immediate medical attention. Ben Cartwright is stunned to find that the doctor is a woman and he hesitates to let her treat Little Joe.

Summary: Just as the Civil War is coming to a close, Ben Cartwright arrives in Washington DC at the request of his old friend President Lincoln. Lincoln makes him an offer that could change his life, taking him away from this sons and the Ponderosa forever. If he refuses the offer, the powers that be have other plans to make him comply. But after a fateful night at Ford’s Theater, a medical emergency sends Ben into the lair of a vengeful doctor and an experience far worse than any amount of political scheming.
