  1. I can’t believe I’m caught up. I’ve been reading all the CC stories for the last several months and have thoroughly enjoyed each one. They are all so unique in their plots but have the common thread of all that Bonanza means woven throughout. I don’t know how you do it, Krystyna. I was enthralled with this last story. The mystery you built around Jotham and Harcourt, and O’Brien’s journal had me guessing all the way to the end. You’re characters are so real, even the children, and bringing in connections to past stories was fantastic. As someone else commented, the ebb and flow of the story follows life’s patterns – good times and bad, ups and downs. I can’t say enough about how much I love the family relationships, especially Adam and Olivia. In this story especially with her worrying if Adam would be recalled. I worried about that too. I am impatiently waiting for the next installment. There are a few threads to be tied up and I can’t help but wonder what adventure our favorite MiB will be sent on next. I hope it won’t be too much longer. Thank you for wonderful series.

    1. It is a pleasure and a joy to write stories when the reward is a review as encouraging as this one, AC. Every time I thought I had found the culprit another thread emerged that needed following up. Thank you so very much for your review, AC, it came just at the right time!

  2. i just love your stories. It was great. I did sometimes go back to Captain, oh my Captain, to help me remember what happened in that. I will look out for the next part.

    1. Thank you, conny1971, it is always a spur to the imagination to receive such a review. I hope to get started on the next in the series today…thank you so much.

  3. I so thoroughly enjoyed this tale of love, mystery, betrayal and friendship. Each and every scene was perfect and timed exactly to provide the maximum amount of suspense but also normalcy, just like life. Your stories seem realistic to me because of that fact, life has gradual twists and turns just like your plots and there is both waiting and fast developments. Thank you for a timeless glance into my beloved CC series universe and I can’t wait for the next installment of the “Home Is The Sailor” series!! You are so talented and I so enjoy reading your magnificent work. Pplleeassee never stop writing!

    1. I am so pleased that you enjoyed this short(er) story of the series. In a way it was a looking back to the days when Adam was at sea, so a dip into C.C history. Miss Kitty, your reviews are such an encouragement to me to keep writing, and I thank you deeply for them. While you are prepared to read them, then I shall do my best to continue writing them. Most sincerely, thank you so much
